Cotton States Life Agents to Sell Atlanta Casualty Auto Product

Cotton States Life Insurance Company says its wholly owned subsidiary CSI Brokerage Services, Inc. has penned an agreement with Atlanta Casualty Companies to offer Atlanta Casualty's non-standard automobile insurance products through the Cotton States agency force.

The Atlanta Casualty products will be offered by Cotton States agents in addition to Progressive Corp.'s products, which have been sold by the company's agents since 1989.

Cotton States Chairman, J. Ridley Howard says, "I am very pleased to add the facilities of Atlanta Casualty to the product offerings of our Cotton States agents. Atlanta Casualty and Progressive Corporation are recognized leaders in the industry. Our agents and customers will greatly benefit from the availability of products offered by these two fine companies."

The agreement should result in increased revenues for Cotton States Life of approximately $300,000 in 1998, the company says.
