CommissionDue version 2.0 for agents of life, health and group benefits offers new features and improved ease-of-use to help agents catch missing and incorrect payments, account for shared cases and splits, track first year and renewal business, and forecast future income.

The developer states that new features include improved functionality for group insurance, the ability to track investment sales commissions, and enhanced commissions payable functionality with links to popular accounting systems. The new version also offers the ability to design and print reports (Agency Edition only) and the ability to secure data with a built-in backup utility. In addition, the software includes a new OnScreen Statement feature for reconciling commissions—users just check each received commission to reconcile.

Like the original release, the new version also tracks target and excess premiums, overrides, commission chargebacks and bonuses, and offers special features for managing group insurance. The software is designed to manage commissions payable by allowing agents to automatically setup payout based on an agent's contract level, to print professional commission statements for sub-agents, and to pay agents splits based on a percentage of commission or a percentage of premium paid.

In addition, users can use the software to forecast future earnings and analyze their current business by projecting their commissions for the next month or year, determining how much of their earnings are renewal versus first-year commissions, and view production by carrier, product line, or sub-agent.
