CNA Surety Deploys E-bond Application on Extranet

JetForm Corporation, a workflow and e-forms services provider, says that CNA Surety, through its Western Surety Company subsidiary, has deployed an e-bond application powered by JetForm e-process framework. The application is designed to reduce the cycle time for processing surety bond orders.

CNA Surety has deployed an application in an end-to-end e-process that replaces a mission-critical paper-intensive process. The entire process, from collecting data securely to issuing compliant bond documents, is completed online by agents in a protected area of Western Surety's Web site.

``Our new e-process application enables us to operate more competitively and furthers our own e-business strategy,'' said Bob Fullenkamp, chief information officer for CNA Surety. ``With this application, we've addressed our need for fast, online processing and compliant documents to be generated at the end of the process.''

The application was developed jointly by JetForm Professional Services and CNA Surety's Western Surety subsidiary and was deployed in production in December, 1999. The revenue was recognized in a previous quarter.
