CNA Pro's Gregorio To Lead New Kemper Unit

Kemper Insurance Companies customers now have expanded access to professional liability coverage through a newly established New York-based team of professionals led by Reina Gregorio, former executive vice president for CNA Pro, CNA's professional liability unit.

Gregorio, a 19-year professional liability veteran, has been hired as a senior vice president of Kemper, and will serve as president of a new operating unit. "Reina is one of the most experienced professional liability underwriters in the world," said Kemper President William D. Smith.

Gregorio will build a group of 20-25 professionals dedicated to professional liability underwriting. The team will work nationally, with offices on the east coast and in the Midwest.

The group will distribute coverage both through Kemper's existing regional branch network and via brokerages with which she has developed partnerships over the years. The group reports directly to Smith. Smith said the addition of Gregorio and her team is another in a series of steps Kemper has taken in the past 18 months to bolster its ability to offer specialty lines of insurance.
