CNA Launches Package Policy To Meet Needs Of Staffing Services Industry

CNA has announced its new Staffing Services Package Policy, designed to meet the needs of this growing industry. The new package policy includes comprehensive coverage for staffing services firms. In addition to required Errors & Omissions coverage, customers can also select Special Property Coverage, Business Owners Liability, Employment Practice Liability and Sexual Misconduct Vicarious Liability coverages.

"Staffing services is the number one industry in the country and it is expected to continue to grow. CNA Pro is ready to meet the needs of this expanding industry," said Joseph DeCarlo, assistant vice president, CNA Pro. "This package was designed following extensive research, including interviews with staffing services company managers, and provides staffing services firms with the coverages they want and need."

CNA's Staffing Services Package Policy is available to Professional Employer Organizations, Temporary Help Services, Permanent Placement Employment Agencies and Executive Search firms. Clerical through blue collar placements are eligible. The policy has coverage available to staffing firms that make placements in professions that include medical, engineering, architecture, legal, programming and accounting. CNA's policy provides customers with independent limits and deductibles for each coverage.

CNA's Staffing Services Package Policy's E&O and GL coverage parts are written on an occurrence basis, while Sexual Misconduct and EPLI coverage parts are written on a claims made and reported basis. The policy's Sexual Misconduct coverage provides broad protection for the staffing service entity.

The package, written on an admitted basis, is underwritten by Continental Casualty Company, one of the CNA insurance companies, and is administered by Smith, Bell and Thompson, Inc. The package is currently available in most states and should be approved in the near future in the remaining states.
