Client Information System (CIS)

Many features and functions of the system are customized for each client by completing or changing information in tables that support each of the major systems. Table entries are made on-line and are real-time. Parameters controlled through CIS table entries include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Security options, beyond those provided by the AS/400, are available for client selection in a CIS table.
• Agency tables provide on-line maintenance of the Agent Master File information to grant licensing authority, cancel or transfer a book of business, and control commission rates.
• Reinsurance table entries define the client's excess loss and quota share treaties.
