ClaimCard Announces New Additions To The ClaimCard Network

ClaimCard, Inc., a developer of Internet based software applications and innovative payment systems for the insurance industry has added Edwin Watts Pro Golf, ComputAbility, Continental Jewelers, Diver's Outlet, City Furniture and Bentley's Luggage & Gifts to the ClaimCard merchant network. The network consists of a distinguished collection of household goods merchants participating in ClaimCard's unique program to improve claim service after a property loss.

In 1997 homeowner claims exceeded $20 billion and content claims alone exceeded $5 billion in the United States. As insurance companies implement ClaimCard software and payment systems, network merchants are expected to receive an inordinate share of settlement dollars.

Insurance companies using ClaimCard technologies can fairly and accurately value the stolen property, disburse claim benefits faster and more efficiently than writing a check, eliminate the necessity of a homeowner going "out-of-pocket" to replace merchandise before being reimbursed, and can complete these tasks at a lower cost than traditional methods.

Lawrence Park, President and Chief Executive Officer of ClaimCard stated, "ClaimCard is pleased to welcome such a fine assortment of quality merchants. These companies represent a diverse selection of products, offer exceptional prices and have demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction. They are terrific additions to the ClaimCard network."
