CIGNA Names Ted Detrick as Investor Relations Head

CIGNA Corporation announced that Ted Detrick has been named vice president, investor relations. He will serve as the financial spokesperson for the corporation and manage all communications with shareholders, financial analysts and other investment professionals.

Prior to his new position, Detrick, who has been with CIGNA eight years, served as chief financial officer for the company's Human Resources and Services operations. He joined the company as assistant vice president, financial reporting and corporate accounting. Prior to joining CIGNA, he was senior manager in the audit department at Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Detrick is a magna cum laude graduate of LaSalle University and holds a BS degree in business administration. A certified public accountant, he is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs.
