Chubb Group of Insurance Companiesf=http://www2.propertyandcasualty.com/storefronts/chubb.html><%=company%> announced today that it has expanded its employment practices liability insurance capabilities into Europe. The continental Europe operation is based in Brussels and headed by underwriting specialist Brian S. Vosloh. The UK operation, based in London, is managed by Jane Hodgson.

Europe is the latest addition to Chubb's global employment practices underwriting facilities in the major world insurance markets including Asia Pacific, Australia, Canada, Latin America, and the United States.

"European companies are increasingly aware that employment issues such as sexual harassment, wrongful termination and discrimination are no longer confined to the United States," says Vosloh. "We can help mitigate the U.S. risks, in addition to addressing the issues raised by the changing employment laws in Europe and around the world. European firms are concerned about the effect an employment practices lawsuit may have on their bottom lines."

Policy limits are available up to US$50 million. In Europe, the coverage is available in Belgium, Denmark, France, the Netherlands and Sweden.
