CCC And Motor Information Systems In Long-Term Pact
CCC Information Services Inc. and Motor Information Systems announced a 20-year agreement in which Motor will continue as CCC's exclusive collision database provider for its Pathways Collision Estimating and other estimating products for the automotive claims industry.
The new agreement marks the continuation of a partnership that began in 1991 when CCC delivered EZEst Collision Estimating, the industry's first-ever, PC-based automated estimating system, based on the Motor Crash Estimating database. In 1995, CCC introduced its next-generation, Windows-based Pathways Workflow Manager and Collision Estimating that, like EZEst, utilizes Motor's collision database.
"Our ongoing relationship with Motor is a true partnership, and this maximizes the value we bring to our mutual customers," says Peter Largen, CCC's senior vice president, product management.
"Motor is very pleased to secure this long-term relationship with CCC," says Kevin Carr, vice president and general manager at Motor Information Systems. "Our commitment to the partnership will ensure that CCC continues as the premier provider of and recognized leader in automated collision estimating." He adds that Motor will make significant investments to maintain its position as provider of the world's most complete and accurate estimating database.
