Blanch Appoints Vice Chair, Creates Office of The Chairman
Dallas-based E.W. Blanch Holdings announced the appointment of Kaj Ahlmann as vice chairman, an executive officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Ahlmann joins EWB with more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. He spent the past 12 years with Employers Reinsurance Corporation, the last six of which as chairman, president and chief executive officer.

Blanch said that to "further mobilize our opportunity for success," the company has created an Office of Chairman, which will be comprised of Ahlmann, Chris Walker, Rod Fox and Blanch.
