Big "I" Partners With Fireman's Fund

Alexandria, VA - The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Big "I") is partnering with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company to offer a nationally endorsed program for insurance agents Errors & Omissions (Agents E&O) coverage. This new product adds an additional market to the Big "I" National Professional Liability Program.

"Agents are often placed in the role of an advisor, which can expand liability issues and increase exposure," said Gary Bhojwani, president, Commercial Business at Fireman's Fund®." Agents E&O coverage provides liability coverage for agents, for example: protecting agents in the event they fail to provide a specific coverage or provide any coverage at all.

The Agents E&O program will commence with a pilot program in five states in August 2006. The pilot will last approximately sixty days with a phased rollout to other states in the fourth quarter of 2006.
