Mitchell offers access to the two largest auto provider networks, CCN Managed Care and FOCUS Healthcare Management
Mitchell offers access to the two largest auto provider networks, CCN Managed Care and FOCUS Healthcare Management. Our clients will have network access in all 50 states plus D.C. Combined, these networks have over 350,000 professional providers, hospitals, and other inpatient and outpatient facilities. Most importantly, these auto-specific networks have a high concentration of trauma specialists, physical therapists, chiropractors, and other doctors most sought by auto injury victims. Mitchell is willing to partner with any auto provider network you are using or may wish to use.

Provider Network offers many benefits on top of the benefits clients receive from bill review. Some of these benefits are:

Prohibits balance billing on discounts taken

The contracted rates between the network and the providers removes virtually all possibility of litigation issues and challenges regarding payment by the medical providers.

Savings above and beyond bill review

To achieve maximum savings, Medical Analyst reviews each bill to state fee schedules and UCR first and then applies the contracted provider network discount. This helps to ensure the bill review is not based on the discount of inflated charges.

Higher quality of care through provider nomination and credentialling process

Networks spend a significant amount of time checking the credentials of the providers, hospitals, and facilities in their networks. The process starts with an application being sent to the provider and also includes surveys of providers, on-site visits, documentation requests, and various types of background checks.

Benefits to your policyholder translates to better policy retention

Delivering auto managed care to your first party policyholders allows the policyholder to experience positive benefits in a several ways.

First, due to the stringent provider credentialling process, you can be comfortable knowing the provider has a current medical license, up to date medical malpractice insurance, and meets many other requirements.

Second, since the provider has agreed to a discount from billed charges, the policyholder's policy limits may go further. While, this may not motivate a policyholder who simply has an emergency room treatment with no follow-up, it will motivate policyholders who have more serious injuries with multiple physician specialties and/or outpatient or inpatient types of treatment.

Third, many times an injured policyholder does not know where to seek treatment following an auto accident. Most insurance carriers will not recommend a provider for fear that the policyholder be unhappy with their treatment. Using a provider network provides a comfort level because of the level of accrediation the providers and facilities undergo. Policyholders will appreciate hearing about possible physicians and hospitals they can confidentially seek treatment with, and know that the fees for these services will be 100% paid by their insurance company.
