Atlantic Mutual Serves Up Food Program with Brown & Brown
Madison, NJ-based Atlantic Mutual and Brown & Brown, Tampa, FL, have combined to offer an insurance program specifically tailored to the food processing industry. The program is available in all states.
The "Food Processors Preferred Program" offers a range of coverage including $500,000 adulteration, spoilage, temperature or humidity for personal property and loss of income; $250,000 blanket inland marine limit, which includes transit and $250,000 adulteration for transit. Equipment breakdown is included on a portfolio basis and a $50,000 limit is included for food processors product recall coverage.
Food Processors Worldwide special inventory coverage applies to property at other premises, installation and transit for a limit of $100,000. Coverage does not apply to import or export shipments while the property is covered by an ocean marine policy or in an ocean going vessel.
The Food Processors Preferred Program is specifically designed for food and kindred producers operations including: dairy products, fruits and vegetables, grain mill products, bakery goods, sugar and confectionery products, fats and oils, beverages and some miscellaneous food preparation.
