Applied Systems delivers The Agency Manager via the Internet
Applied Systems Inc., the leader in insurance automation solutions, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Data Transit International. As of October 2000, Applied Systems and Data Transit have established an agreement, whereby Data Transit will house Applied's Internet-based insurance agent/broker management system, TAMCentral, on a state-of-the-art data center. By outsourcing their application needs to a hosted environment, agents and brokers can rely on the same system functionality and feature-rich design experienced by over 9,000 Applied customers.

Applied Systems has entered a joint venture with Data Transit to deploy TAMCentral as a managed, hosted application to their customers. This innovative new platform provides access to Applied's flagship product, The Agency Manager, for agents and brokers via an Internet connection. The subscriber's data resides securely on an exceptionally protected, world-class data center powered by UUNet and managed by Data Transit. Such an arrangement features full system functionality, high bandwidth availability and response time, and four-tier security measures.
