What is Applied ConneXion?
Over the years, there has been a great demand from our clients to utilize the databases associated with our management products as a repository that could be accessed by "third-party" applications without need for customization to the User Interface of the management product. To meet this ever-growing business need, we have developed a toolkit (Applied ConneXion) that can be used by developers for applications that run on any platform to communicate in real-time with the back-end databases supported by The Agency Manager® products.

XML, an industry standard data communication file format, is used as the interface for Applied Connexion™. The toolkit then "translates" the incoming data stream into business objects used by The Agency Manager and The Agency Manager® Vision Series™ to insert update, or retrieve the data requested from the appropriate TAM/Vision tables. The business objects validate the incoming data to insure data integrity, in the same manner as if it had been entered from the TAM/Vision user interface. This point is key because it highlights the true power of the toolkit. With Applied Connexion, you have the power to create any interface you want, but still get the benefits of all the business logic/data integrity built into The Agency Manager to handle the processing of insurance transactions for the agency.

How do I get Applied Connexion?
    1.) If you are not sure If Connexion will be the tool you need contact Tina Noke to discuss your project and whether Connexion will be a proper fit. You can email her at tnoke@appliedsystems.com

    2.) If Connexion will work for you we can get you a list of vendors that we know can help you build your project if you don't have an in house programmer or vendor that you currently use. Remember Connexion is just the "tool" you need to build that bridge between your web page or 3rd party software and your Applied management system.

    3.) If Connexion will work for your project call your Client Solutions representative to order the proper level you will need.

    4.) You can also have Applied Consulting Services act as your project manager working with you and your vendor to make this project successful!
