Alliance of American Insurers sees Record Growth in '99
The Alliance of American Insurers, Downers Grove, IL, says it topped the 300-member milestone by bringing in 41 new property/casualty insurance companies in 1999. This member growth has brought the total count of Alliance member companies to 317.
The 41 new Alliance member companies are part of the following 14 insurer groups: ARI Insurance Group, Arrow Mutual Liability, Bankers Independent, Farmers Mutual Fire Assurance Association of New Jersey, FirstReturn, Frankenmuth Mutual, MICOA Group, Midwest Family Mutual, Old Guard, ProMutual, Salem Group, Sunshine State, Superior National and TIG.
The State Farm Insurance Co. also joined the Alliance as a loss control subscriber, and GE Employers Reinsurance Corporation (ERC), Insurance Company Segment joined as a reinsurer affiliate member.
