Alliance Of American Insurers Distinguishes Itself With New Logo

The Alliance of American Insurers has unveiled a new corporate logo that, according to the association, signals a move to better distinguish its products and services. This move is further enhanced by the Alliance's physical relocation into the heart of Chicago's new corporate and high-tech corridor.

"Creating brand awareness has become increasingly important to insurance companies as they seek to differentiate themselves in the ever-changing business environment," said Alliance President Rodger S. Lawson, PhD. "The Alliance recognizes the wisdom of this strategy and has launched a new branding campaign as it begins a new chapter in its long history of service to the insurance industry and its members."

"As an organization, the Alliance prides itself in providing members with fast, reliable service, and has a long track record for being a responsible voice in the insurance industry," said Lawson. "However, the insurance business environment is more dynamic today than at any point in history. The Alliance realizes that change is the order of the day and is positioning itself to remain the premier insurance industry trade association heading into the 21st century."

The logo, a white star on a bright blue field preceding the words "Alliance of American Insurers," symbolizes the Alliance's role as a beacon for the insurance industry, guiding the way with fresh insights and clarity of vision as we move into a new era of vigorous advocacy, Lawson said.

Effective July 1, the 76-year-old trade association will move into new headquarters in Downers Grove, Illinois. The new address is:

    Alliance of American Insurers
    3025 Highland Parkway, Suite 800
    Downers Grove, IL 60515
    630-724-2100

"The new, more efficient business environment will be more conducive to teamwork and foster better exchange of ideas among our staff of experienced professionals," said Lawson. "This will enhance communication between staff members, resulting in even more responsive service to members' needs."

"These outwardly visible changes are a manifestation of several internal ones that have been in our planning process for more than a year," Lawson added. "We have expanded our on-line resources, including our user-friendly Website, which provides up-to-the-minute access to the latest regulatory news and compliance information. We also have been gradually staffing up by hiring leading experts in their fields, and have been taking a close look at the changing needs of our members as we all enter the new century."
