AIG Offers Homeowners Insurance At InsWeb

InsWeb Corp. announced that member companies of American International Group, Inc. (AIG) now offer homeowners insurance in 30 states at their site. AIG Companies become the second insurance group, following State Farm, to sell homeowners insurance through the site. AIG already provides quotes on personal automobile insurance in 38 states at InsWeb.

"We're delighted AIG has broadened its relationship with InsWeb to now offer homeowners and auto insurance," said Kevin Keegan, president of InsWeb's Insurance Services.

In addition to homeowners and auto insurance, the InsWeb marketplace includes term life, individual medical and specialty lines of insurance from leading carriers.
