Aetna U.S. Healthcare Introduces Managed Worker's Compensation Services In NYC Area

Aetna U.S. Healthcare's Workers Comp Advantage (WCA) has received approval from the State of New York to begin offering its comprehensive managed worker's compensation services to groups in Manhattan and six nearby counties.

Now available in New York (Manhattan), Bronx, Kings, Nassau, Queens, Suffolk, and Westchester counties, Aetna U.S. Healthcare's program of managed workers compensation services is also pending approval in Richmond and Rockland counties.

"With landmark PPO legislation opening the New York market to managed care organizations for worker's compensation, we want to be the choice of employers and employees alike," says Michael Hartung, president of WCA, a subsidiary of Aetna U.S. Healthcare.
