ADP Completes Deal to Acquire Audatex Holding AG from Swiss Re
ADP Claims Solutions Group (CSG) says it has completed the acquisition of Audatex Holding AG, a firm that provides automotive, physical-damage estimating services outside North America.
"With this acquisition, ADP CSG will have the infrastructure and resources to support insurance clients on a global basis," says Mike Martone, group president, ADP. Audatex has offices in 19 locations worldwide.
According to Martone, the existing Audatex management team will remain in place. ADP will soon name a chief operating officer of Audatex to oversee day-to-day business operations in Zurich.
"In addition to driving revenues for our company, we believe we can leverage our investments in application and database development over a significantly larger market, and our international technology infrastructure should provide significant economies of scale," says Martone.
ADP CSG provides the property and casualty industry and their business partners with integrated, neutral and independent information services for automotive, medical and property claims management. ADP CSG clients include many of the top insurers in the world and leading automotive repairers, recyclers and related businesses in North America and Europe.
