ADP Claims Group Says Service Grows

ADP Claims Solutions Group (CSG), an information services company for the automotive insurance claims industry, says it achieved "record-breaking growth last year" for its Autosource total loss valuations service. According to John Barfitt, president of ADP CSG, Autosource posted a 45% increase in business over 1997.

Autosource offers valuation, market search and other information services through electronic and toll-free call-in/fax-in methods. ADP says the Autosource database is the world's largest database of "for sale" vehicle valuation information, with more than 30 million vehicles entered annually.

The database information is continuously updated from ADP CSG's dealer inventory program, which collects information weekly from more than 7,000 dealerships, as well as private-party advertisements in more than 2,700 publications nationwide. The result is a database updated with more than 800,000 vehicles per week.
