ACE Names New Senior VP of Professional Liability

ACE USA has named Bruce M. Eisler senior vice president of professional liability. Eisler has 12 years' experience in the professional liability business and will be responsible for managing individual errors & omissions accounts for companies specializing in media, real estate, consulting, and numerous other classes of professional liability including architects and engineers.

He will also oversee medical and non-medical professional liability programs.

Eisler joins ACE USA from Reliance National, where he served most recently as senior vice president of professional liability. In that role, he was responsible for underwriting various classes of professional liability including architects and engineers, and was also responsible for the integrated management of professional liability claims.

During his nine-year tenure, he served in various key management positions, including first vice president and managing vice president of professional liability. Eisler's responsibilities covered areas such as premium production, policy drafting, marketing, as well as product development, loss prevention and risk management services.

Prior to Reliance, he served as professional liability claims counsel for CIGNA Property & Casualty (1989-91) and American International Group (AIG), where he began his insurance career.

Eisler is a graduate of Rutgers University (B.S., management science) and Seton Hall University (J.D., law) and is a frequent speaker, panelist and author on professional liability insurance.
