The product is a wireless FM carrier current phone extension system designed to support V.34 and V.90 modems for computers and Internet television systems like WebTV. The jack turns any electrical outlet into a modem jack, transmitting data signals on 110v electrical wiring using a closed-circuit, FM transmissions. It makes access to the World Wide Web possible anywhere in the home, office or classroom.

It can support data access over the Internet and modem speeds required by users on the web who want to download quantities of data.
