WCF's special investigations unit was established in 1992. The Unit has saved WCF customers $22 million by stopping fraudulent activity within WCF's system. This year alone, the special investigations unit has investigated 280 cases and turned over 38 of those to the Utah State Attorney General's Office for prosecution.
