Agency IdeasL software is designed for P&C agency principals and managers. The software can help agency managers quickly and easily evaluate profitability of veteran agents, inexperienced producers, and prospective hires. It allows users to develop a realistic 5-year P&L projection for a current or prospective producer in minutes.

The software allows entry and comparison of the industry's top options: straight salary, straight commission, draw against commission, and salary and commission. Users can calculate a distinct P&L for each option and the ensuing compensation-to-production ratio. The software displays the dollar value of the four compensation options side-by-side from the perspectives of both the agency and the producer. It can also perform "what-if" scenarios to determine what is needed to increase an agent's profitability.

All program results are reported on screen, on informative printouts, and in full color graphs. The software requires Microsoft Excel (97 or 2000) and is currently available for $149.
