The Jewelry Expert Multiapp system (JEMs) is software for jewelry underwriting and claims processing. This program can be used whether jewelry is being insured under a Homeowners policy or covered under a separate Inland Marine agreement. For underwriting, this system guides the agent or underwriter in the collection of key elements used to insure jewelry, highlighting missing information needed for a reliable valuation. The software calculates insurance to value and creates easy-to-understand jewelry schedules, descriptions, values and premiums. For claims, this program generates accurate claim estimates, reducing settlement costs as much as 80%. All jewelry estimates are backed by guarantees for like-kind replacement. It is also compatible with other software products and is backwardly compatible with ACORD AL3 standards.
