The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies has released a monograph to help the association's member property and casualty insurance companies address the challenges presented by today's business enviroment.

The monograph, Capital Enhancement Strategies for Mutual Property and Casualty Insurance Companies, covers surplus notes, affiliations, downstream holding companies and demutualizations. It also covers newer avenues of accessing capital, such as mutual holding companies. It includes state-by-state summaries of demutualization, mutual holding company and merger statutes.
