Kenesey to lead The Medical Protective Company

Jones to lead global business development & services
GE Employers Reinsurance Corporation (ERC), Insurance Company Segment, announced that Tim Kenesey has been appointed President of The Medical Protective Company and that Robert B. Jones has been named Global Business Development and Services Leader for ERC. Both appointments are effective immediately.
Kenesey will lead Ft. Wayne, Ind.-based Medical Protective, one of the largest medical malpractice insurers in the U.S. Kenesey has been General Manager of Global Business Development for GE ERC and previously served as a business development leader at GE Medical Systems, helping both GE companies expand their range of customer services. Kenesey, an attorney and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), has also held leadership positions at KPMG Peat Marwick and at Sidley & Austin, a Chicago law firm. He replaces Tim Beck who has decided to leave the company.

Robert B. Jones will replace Kenesey in the newly combined roles of Global Business Development and Services Leader for GE ERC, reporting to Ron Pressman, Chairman, President and CEO. Jones will lead the identification and execution of acquisitions and strategic alternatives to support the company's growth initiatives and guide strategic planning. Jones has previously served as GE ERC's Global Services Leader and e-Business Leader, and has held marketing and business development leadership roles at GE Financial Assurance (GEFA).
