Insurance Career Brochure Speaks Spanish

N/A of its broadening consumer advocacy efforts, the <%=company%> has translated a key resource of its InVEST student education program into Spanish.

The translation of the InVEST Career Brochure—a quick-read pamphlet explaining the myriad career opportunities offered by the insurance industry, as well as the role of insurance in society—is part of the expansion of the InVEST program towards broadening the consumer and employee base of the Independent Agency System.

The brochure's family-oriented approach educates students and parents alike about the opportunities and advantages offered through the Independent Agency System.

InVEST is a national program administered by IIAA to teach insurance-related business skills to high school and community college students while ensuring the perpetuation of the Independent Agency System through increased awareness, education and training. More than 3,500 students in more than 225 schools take part in the InVEST program annually, and two-thirds of all InVEST graduates enter some facet of the insurance industry.

"InVEST is the perfect marriage of industry promotion and civic involvement," says Joyce Vogel, of San Diego-based Barney and Barney and chair of the InVEST Board of Directors. "Through the topic of insurance, InVEST classes offer a practical application of the business skills and common sense that will carry the students throughout their lives. The program brings new blood into the field and introduces agents to the educational process."
