IIAA, ERC Announce EPL Endorsement To E&O Policy

N/Amployment Practices Liability (EPL) endorsement offered by the <%=company%> (IIAA) and Employers Reinsurance Corp. (ERC) is designed to provide greater protection to agencies and their clients in today's tenuous legal environment.

The EPL endorsement provides basic coverage for employment-related practices and is available to ERC/Westport E&O policyholder agencies with 10 or fewer employees, excluding owners and partners.

The endorsement provides coverage for wrongful employment practices such as sexual harassment, wrongful termination or breach of employment contract. The endorsement also offers coverage for perceived acts of discrimination based on race, religion, creed, age, gender, national origin, disability and handicap.

The EPL endorsement, which has a $250,000 sub-limit and a $2,500 deductible, is available for $525 and can be added through simplified underwriting. Availability is subject to filing approval in each state. The endorsement currently has been approved in 38 states.
