GE Employers Reinsurance Corporation (ERC), Insurance Company Segment announced today that Dan Eudy has been appointed President of Industrial Risk Insurers (IRI) and that Ken Brock has been named leader of the GE Global Asset Protection(SM) services group. Both will report to Louis Parker, President and CEO of ERC Commercial Insurance.

Eudy will lead the IRI property insurance team for highly protected risks.The team serves Fortune 1000 companies and other large businesses that have complex property insurance needs. Eudy joined the company in 1996, serving as chief underwriting officer until he was named chief operating officer in October 2000. During his 24 years in the insurance industry, Eudy has held leadership positions in underwriting, operations and marketing. He graduated with a BSBA from Appalachian State University and received his MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Brock will lead the new GE Global Asset Protection(SM) services group, offering a new line of strategic, risk management, and facility asset management services as well as IRI's traditional loss prevention business. The company is expanding these services with the addition of business continuity solutions and new Internet-based risk management tools like IRInsight(SM) and MyAnalysis. Since joining IRI in 1996, Brock's responsibilities have included management of the company's field loss prevention services, IRI's research and customer training, and technical support services. Brock serves on numerous industry boards and advisory committees. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

Eudy and Brock replace Gail Norstrom, who will retire after 31 years with the company.
