"Best Practices" Immersion Training Certification Slated
Experienced insurance educators and industry leaders will receive Best Practices instructor certification during the day-and-a-half workshop, to be held Jan. 5-6, preceding IIAA's 23rd Annual Education Convocation in Miami. The workshop fuses the critical elements of core Best Practices seminars and a general overview of the program into a condensed format.
IIAA's Best Practices program documents the business tactics of the most successful independent agencies in the country. Agents and companies alike use the program's menu of tools and workshops to address a variety of business issues, from agency/company planning and perpetuation to customer service and producer development.
"The Best Practices program uses the latest research and industry expertise to uncover and then deliver proven business strategies to our member agencies and company affiliates," says Chris Amrhein, IIAA vice president of industry affairs. "IIAA believes there is no better way to improve the Independent Agency System than to learn the technical, managerial and strategic methods that maximize the value of an agency."
Workshop attendees will receive instructor certification for the following seminars:
- Introduction to Best Practices
- Agency Self-Diagnostic Tool
- Five Practices of Highly Effective Leaders
- Joint Agency/Company Planning Tool
- Quality Customer Service
- Best Practices for Creating a Sales Organization
- How to Recruit, Develop and Motivate Producers
- Best Practices in Business and Management Succession
The workshop will be held prior at IIAA's 23rd Annual Education Convocation, to be held Jan. 5-9 at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami. The conference instructs IIAA state education professionals about the latest educational opportunities in the insurance and business arenas. More than 100 insurance professionals will gather to network, attend workshops and view the products and services offered by industry vendors.
